About FBLA-PBL

FBLA-PBL Logo

PBL offers comprehensive professional development experience to students in all majors through its career development meetings/workshops, mentor-mentee system, and state/national leadership conferences. We are a chapter of Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL), the largest career student business organization in the world.Learn more about PBL here.

Competitive Events Program

FBLA-PBL's National Awards Program recognizes and rewards excellence in a broad range of business and career-related areas. Through state-based competition at the spring State Leadership Conferences, students compete in events testing their business knowledge and skills. Top state winners then are eligible to compete for honors at the National Leadership Conference each summer. Learn more about the different competitive events here.

Business Education

Being part of the PBL means learning new business fundamental skills and etiquette through conferences and competitions. As well as through our personal boot camps each semester that helps to foster interpersonal and business skills. Our slack channel promotes discussion about current business events domestically and internationally.

National Leadership Conference

FBLA-PBL members have the competitive edge, as the best and brightest of FBLA and PBL convene to compete in leadership events, share their successes, and learn new ideas about shaping their career future through workshops and exhibits. FBLA-PBL has forged partnerships with industry leaders to underwrite competitive events and scholarships for students achieving national ranking.

Team Culture

Outside of our commitments to PBL, we enjoy grabbing food, studying together, organizing social events, or discussing non-business related topics. Our team is made up of individuals who are committed to becoming an active part of a close-knit community and enjoy having fun just as much as being part of PBL.

Monthly Meetings

Our monthly meetings vary in topic but are all insightful and help to immerse our members into the corporate business world. Occasionally, we have a lesson taught by a guest speaker that has business experience in a specific industry. Alternatively, we hold a Bootcamp to help improve a certain skill. Other times we just like to hang out with each other with games and refreshments!

Conferences & Seminars

FBLA-PBL sponsors conferences and seminars for members and advisers. These programs are designed to foster the development of business leadership skills.
